Spool Drawings Still waiting for three and four weeks to have spool drawings drawing manually from your computer generated isometric. We have the methodology to get piping spool drawings, with the actual cut lengths and details that large bore and small bore piping fabrication shops need. The files produced by I-Sketch can be converted directly into spool drawings. Using SPOOLGEN's flexible setup supports typical isometric style presentation including a most useful, max legs flat orientation. The longest leg of the spool in alignment with the shop table reduces errors by presenting how the spool looks on the shop floor as opposed to how the spool looks erected in place to your team on the shop floor. I-Sketch also conveniently allows for the preparation of max legs flat presentation from manually drawn or 2-D isometrics. Should CAD isometric intermediate data files not be available, I-Sketch can be used to produce shop spool drawings. With IDF import capability I-Sketch can be used to accept input from any of the mainstream 3-D CAD packages (PDMS, PDS, Rebis, CADWorx, Plant 4D, Catia) and be used to produce spool drawings from piping isometrics. One can also choose to prepare either piping erection
style isometrics or piping spool drawings using I-Sketch, an inexpensive applications that
allows the immediate preparation of either drawing type from either the conceptual piping
layout or the piping orthographic drawing. This by far is the most cost effective
tool we have used. The output can easily be converted into 3-D to interface with the
mainstream Plant Design applications. For more information about how to generate
spool drawings from 3-D applications, contact us or try this link www.engineeringapplication.com.
